The one and only Goulash Disko night in Zagreb this summer brings you the skanking ethno Balkan band Balkalar and Goulash captain Yves Taquet, packed with analog disco gems coming straight from the cosmos! 

Balkalar is an ethno band from Zagreb, Croatia with a simple philosophy: freedom, love, rakija, dance, song, and celebration of life. Playing a mix of music from all over the Balkans in their own unique and euphoric arrangements, they are sure to get you on your feet and dancing to different Macedonian, Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian rhythms. They strive to keep the traditional music of the Balkans alive while giving it a new, lively twist. 

Yves Taquet: Born 1801 in Dapesh. Worked 37 years in a confetti factory, close to Buthakari. Spectacular escape. Travelled 184 years with a flea circus. Now is Goulash.
