Full Tone Generator started as an idea hatched on the beaches of Australia by Andy Fernando and brought to fruition in the Californian Desert by Andy Fernando, Brant Bjork, and Brad Young. 

Their now critically acclaimed debut album “Valley of the Universe” was recorded in the Californian desert in 2018 and features Brant Bjork on drums and production duties. Initially intended to be a recording project the band decided to expand the line up and start playing live shows in late 2018. 

In 2022, after touring Australia extensively in support of their debut album and teaming up with none other than Nick Oliveri on their 7” single (without a sound) the band was invited to travel to Austin Texas to join the lineup for the annual Ripple Fest. The boys played alongside bands such as Eagles of Death Metal and The Sword as well as a headline tour of their own across the Southwest of USA taking in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Houston TX, Austin TX and New Orleans.

While in the States the boys headed out to the famous Rancho De La Luna to record a brand new record with Dave Catching behind the desk. The album “Refuge of Sinners” will be ready for release on Golden Robot / Iron Head Records in on March 8th 2024 and the first single “Juan Carlos” dropped on the 09/06/2023. The new album see’s the band exploring a wider variety of styles and experimenting with the sounds and the vibes that inspired them while in the desert.
